Huawei has run into several issues, including having to delay the launch of a device due to the U.S. Entity list which bans American companies from selling technology to certain companies. But Huawei's head of corporate communications, Vincent Pang, stated that the delay of the Mate X is not connected to the U.S. Entity list. Instead, Huawei is going to work on improving the folding screen. Pang said that the device is going through certification tests with multiple carriers and expects testing to be completed in August.
